This quiz doesn't know what it's talking about!!!!

:: L I Z Z Y ::
You are Elizabeth Bennet of Pride & Prejudice! You are intelligent, witty, and tremendously attractive. You have a good head on your shoulders, and oftentimes find yourself the lone beacon of reason in a sea of silliness. You take great pleasure in many things. You are proficient in nearly all of them, though you will never own it. Lest you seem too perfect, you have a tendency toward prejudgement that serves you very ill indeed.

I am Elizabeth Bennet!

super cool pictures I've taken...

i wish
>I LOVE this picture...

I'm sorry :-)

I am so sorry for my last post...I think I shall go back and edit out some of my overly joyful parts...

EXPLANATION:

  • I HAD JUST SPENT ABOUT 3 WEEKS WATCHING AND ANALYZING EVERY SINGLE VERSION, IDEA, POEM, STORY, OPINION, GLOOBE, AND GRASS STAIN ABOUT PRIDE AND PREJUDICE. Plus! HAVE READ THE STORY ABOUT A ZILLION AND 3 TIMES AND TALKING ABOUT IT AT SCHOOL AND WE WERE TALKING ABOUT OUR HEROES AND ADDIE MENTIONED HER FUTURE *PRINCE CHARMING* ;-) AND I TOTALLY WENT WITH MY OVERLY P&P-ISIZED BRAIN...
  • i'M OFFICIALLY EMBARRASSED (IMBARRASSED :-P, ^INSIDE JOKE THAT I'M NOT REALLY A PART OF^ OF MY OVER EXUBERISHNESS AND RAMBLINGS ON THINGS WHICH WERE RACING THROUGH A P&P BRAIN! wITH A pen!!!!

p.s. i'm so glad you can not see me at the moment...i'm wearing my uberishly UGLY running shorts plus i'm gasping for breath...(partly because of news i just received and partially because i just came from running...i need to go do homework, ::sigh:: I need to do this more often...or perhaps for people's sanity, maybe i shouldn't? ./:}

Pride and Prejudice and other lovely random titles

I LOVE Pride and Prejudice! I mean I LOVE Pride and Prejudice. Like, love it enough to read it about 38 hundred times a year (I was going to say 38.4 hundred times a year but, I NEVER leave that 4/10ths of the way finished so...). Like enough to have watched the ::awful (which has no "awe" in it...like awesome...full of awe...yeah):: 1986 version with Elizabeth Garvie and David Rintoul where the actors are not playing the parts AT ALL!!!! AGG!!! It was so annoying! Like, enough to watch the ::sigh:: wonderful 1996 version with Colin Firth and Jennifer Ehle. Like, enough to watch the 2005 version with Keria Knightly and Matthew Macfadyen! And what struck me, is how much I thought of me and me sister this time. Emily, me elder sister whom I love, and me talk about everything. ( not that I mean to say we are the two perfect older sisters Lizzie and Jane :-P Well, perhaps Emily actually now that I think of it) Emily is soooo much like Jane. VERY sensible, hardly exposes her 'true feelings'...She does, but you would never know that she has a headache or some one has really ticked her off...everyone loves to be with her, she's beautiful, she married a very easy going man, has the elder responsibilities...yeah, on and on.
Another thing it made me think of, was getting married 'cause that's kinda the story line. And then me wonderful and awesome brother-in-law ties into this. Emily married Brad 3 years ago this past August. When she first married him, yes, I loved Brad. He was fun to be around, always makes me laugh, a great Christian guy, loved Emily like crazy...yeah more I could keep saying here too. What can I say? He's just too marvelous a dude! And then, last week, he came up without Emi to play soccer with Ethan and Me. He came just to hang out and be our big brother. And I hadn't realized till then, how much I love and respect Brad and how much he means to me and how much he cares about me family and Emily. It made me realize that when he married Em, he loves her so much, but he cares about us too. And that's such a nice feeling!
( I LOVE PRIDE AND PREJUDICE!!!!!!!! ALL THAT WHICH I HAVE NOW RELATED WAS REALLY NO USE AT ALL!!!!)
What REALLY gets me is how much I smile through the movie...I love it so much, I enjoy it by meself! INfact, I shall admit, embarrassing as it is, I laugh and cry and smile and talk aloud during that movie! I've said at the end of movie #3 and 4 (for 'tis the best ones!) ,"No! NOOOO!!!!! Elizabeth! Mr. Darcy! AGGGGGGGG!!!" and "Elizabeth! don't you dare say what I know you're going to say!" et cetera et cetera (Just for you Mrs. Jones! Oh, and I didn't do too badly! <---see?) Well, I must go and leave off me random and pointless and misspelled, missgrammerd thoughts. I congragulate you if you read every single word and loved me through the end! Let me shake your hand, ::SHAKE::SHAKE::, clap you on the back, ::CLAP::CLAP::, and tell you a secret...::YOUR MARVELOUS!!!!!!:: *screamed in your ear* so, now you are to deaf to hear to I'd better go. Tons of homework.

For those who had some problems understanding me weird and un organized talk here are pictures of the watermelon mustaches.

And the cannibalistic Santa Clauses was...I don't know how we got on that but with Ethan you never can tell so...but basically Santa being a cannibal. Interesting idea atleast.

And these are pretty much the most modest cannibals you'll find on the internet. Also the cutest. The others were, well, um, a sight to un-behold and very un-cute and um, yeah...*shudder*

Warning for the day:

(you're lucky I put this picture on instead of another one I could have picked...one of a really HUGE guy with hardly any clothes to speak of on, sitting in a non-yoga-ish pose...)

Take my advice. Doing Yoga at 6:30 a.m. where you're supposed to be relaxing and just breathing isn't very relaxing when a 110 lbs. Golden Retriever is breathing in your face!!!!!

Ewwwww, so pretty much, don't have Moses sleep in your room if you're planning to do Yoga in the morning. Atleast in my room which is kinda small.

You can't see from this picture....but he's HUGE!!!! (I couldn't find one of Moses where you can see his front end and I'm too lazy to go get one....) And my room isn't so small but when you have a bed and a chair and a dresser, the room is gone. :-P

Depressed, crushed, sad, upset...

AMY IS LEAVING TOMORROW AND I WILL NOT SEE HER FOR A LONG TIME!!!!!!!! (you are coming back, aren't you?) AMY!!!! :-( ... ... ... ... ... I can't think of anything else to say... Good night. :-(

31 May 2006

I would have posted yesterday, but was in to much shock to do so...:-)

yesterday, my day revolved around conversations with Ethan containing:

  1. Cannibalistic Santa Clauses
  2. Watermelon Mustaches
  3. Swelling Hands
  4. How Santa Clause can deliver presents to all the children all over the world. (We have a break through [don't know how we got on the subject of S.C. though] )

See why I was in too much shock to post? Me too/neither...

Adrenaline-Charged Exploits

I know that's the title of my last post..but I liked it so...yeah. :-) Besides, it sounds really cool as now...I have none. (Adrenaline-Charged Exploits)

I haven't posted for awhile because I really REAlly REALLY loved seeing the cute StarWars Dude everytime I came to my blog. I was going to put him up here, but I'm not on the other computer so....anyway. I'll to get on that one next time so I can put him back up...

I just had my audition for The New World Youth Syphony Orchestra. It went super well. They seemed very please. So, that's good. Sunday evening is my recital. I'm doing a super hard piece. So please pray for me. It's kinda silly prayer request but I guess a lot of my requests sound silly anyway in the scope of things :-) I also need prayer because right now I'm so disfunctioned (spelling?) I couldn't spell "sense" a few min. ago. I had to go to the dictionary and then I couldn't find it cause I kept trying to spell it like this-----> sence...scence....jubogamoge....<-----don't ask why. :-)

Tomorrow, my little bro is going to audition for the Philharmonic Orchestra. He just decided after watching me do it so please pray for him too. His recital is tomorrow and he is so confident. I could use some of his confidence. lol anyway. I've done enough damage for one post to the internet and to people's minds.
Au revoir.....

Adrenaline-Charged Exploits (it's true...)

Leah, your best adventures are Adrenaline-Charged Exploits

Skydiving? No problem. Downhill skiing? Piece of cake. Scuba diving? Bring it on! You live for the thrill and that means your kind of adventure involves pushing the limits. A fearless daredevil like you needs to be where the action is, whether it's 10,000 feet up, 100 feet below, or somewhere in between.Your need for speed keeps you charged up and ready for anything. While the words "bungee jump" can turn others pale, you've never met a challenge you weren't ready to take head-on. So what are you waiting for? Grab your parachute and get out there!

What are they talking about!!!!???!!!!!!???!!!??!?!?!?!?!?!?!? That is sooooo not me!! I must not know meself well enough to fill out a quiz about me!!! :-)

o, de-lally, o-de-lally, golly what'da day!!!!

Golly, (that's fun to say...Golly. Golly, golly, golly, golly, GOLLY!! Ha, ready yet to leave my blog and never return? No...? ok, cool.

Today was a very full, fun, tiring, head-aching, leg aching, tongue moving day. I got up promptly at 5:05 a/m and turned OFF me alarm. Then ,getting up an hour later I got ready, did chores, and left WITHOUT BREAKFAST at 8:00 a.m. Then I sat at IUK doing homework, (ha, I have Apologetics, most of Latin, and some English done people! AND I've started Church History..aren't I amazing? Thank you....) , sitting by my cello and backpack, wearing my concert dress, and smelling the people on the other side of the glass who were smoking. (ewwww). After enduring many peoples strange looks and smiles placed upon meself and me celli with all me little trinkets about meself, I finally decided to stop embarrassing meself and head over to Havens Auditorium. Where I proceeded to wait for my ride, Jason. While waiting and reading an introduction to Hamlet and watching for the green GMC surburrban I was SUPPOSED to be looking for, I failed to see it arrive and the occupant not seeing me (as I foolishly was hiding behind a tree without knowing it) glanced out his window several times whilst meself, looking in that direction was able to flag him down with my very white face and arms. Thus way, I was headed off to the United Grace Methodist Church for the lovely and uneventful dress rehearsal of the day. Afterwards, Jason and I (listen to the lovely rhythm of my perfect grammar!) practiced our duet fot our recital. Went...um interestingly. An awesome violinist I know, walked in and stood behind Jason looking over his shoulder at the music I saw him come in but didn't say anything. Mr. awesome violinist sat down in a very orange chair and waited until I promptly messed up and confused everyone and thing! Then he began coaching us without any introduction or anything. It was funny! But, he did have some very good suggestions. Anyway, we finally got to go eat downstairs as they were cleaning up lunch and everyone was gone to get back the the other dress rehearsal. But we managed to tackle the 'food lady' and held her captive till she gave up the location of: *in a very wispery and dramatic voice* the secret treasure (i.e. food [what does i.e. stand for anyway?] ) . We ate while 3 adult stood in a corner talking and all around having fun making echos. Whilst me colleague and I ate, talked, laughed, and planned *~evil schemes~*. Then, going upstairs, we tuned, warmed up, got concert clothes, and Jason went to get his students collected. I ran through my ENTIRE recital piece almost without stopping! YAH!! I think I can pull it off! And that was with the ummm, un-fantastic loaner bow. My "lovely" bow is in the repair shop. Not that it is any better, but at least I know how to use it ad get the best sound quality from THAT bow rather than THIS bow which I didn't use until today, at the concert. YIPEE! Then after concert was all over packed up, got invited by Jason to come to a comedy thing at Eastern but had to decline because me mom and me (listen to that un-beautiful and un rhythmical rhythm) had to go grocery shopping and she had to go home and take a final 'cause IUK's power went out this morning, (didst I forget to mention the most exciting part of the day? wow, it was crazy! people running everywhere saying, "Move them to this room!" "No, the computers are down in there too!" "How 'bout here?" "Move them to the Main Building!" "Move them back to the regular class room." "Move them to Mexico!" ok, I made the last one up. But I'm serious, they moved probably 5 times. ) . Sost, we went shopping, and came home, and I cleaned the bathroom. It was fun-erific! I want to go here next year, it's awesome. Played a bit of Nintendo with me little-ist bro. Now, that y'all have had a reality time account of my day...I'm going to get a cup 'o tea and go to my room....'Night all...

"When johnny comes marchin' home again hurrah, hurrah,..."

MY BIG BROTHER IS COMING HOME JUNE 2ND!!!!!!!!

Ha, now all ye lovely orchestra members must practice extra hard and carefully! He will missed
Bonnaroo. It's a 4 day music festival with I don't know how many bands. You make up a schedule and just go from one concert to another and practically live there. But I think he's gonna miss it. He only has 2 weeks leave. I want to go, but I don't.
  1. reason 1, They didn't have really any bands I was interested in seeing there.
  2. reason 2, It's supposed to be kinda wild and crazy there 'cause people are totally obsessed with music and are insane if they go there. (so yeah, that adds Luke to that list)
  3. reason 3, I probably wouldn't be here at the time of it anyway.

So, anyway, I couldn't think of anything to post about except Luke. I have some funny pics. and a video of Ethan to put on once I get to a computer that can a UP-load (that was just for you Jamey) pictures. He's... .... ...being Ethan on/in them/it. Well, Ethan is calling me for about the 231st time so I guess I better go. ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ... ...

Caffeine...CAFfeine...CAFFEINE!!!!! (o gosh what a day...)

Gosh, first our power goes off twice last night. Once, while I was finishing a paper due today. (It was finished but I was typing it so it would look nice :-) ) And again while I was asleep. So, naturally, I couldn't fix my alarm clock. If only I had Trevor's which automatically goes off at 5:09 a.m no matter what time you set it at. Since that's the time I have to get up, it's perfect. How 'bout it Trevor :-)? Then, I'm late for Church History 'cause of my stupid alarm (or power out, whatever!). Then, we get a whole pot of coffee with vanilla! YUMMY YUMERS! (that is the "caffeine" part) Then, Jamey, Ben, Trevor, (the girls had some too, but not near as much) finished off two 2 liters in the 'fridge, (that's the "CAFfeine" part). Now, being all "hyped up" (like my use of vocabulary? :-) ) The guys are all, umm, caffeinated and, umm,...ENERGIZED, that's the word! Then, (yes, there is more to this scary tale) Kelly (bless and curse her! Just kidding Kelly! :-) [not that she reads this but just so you know how it was {don't you love me when I try to be confusing!}]) Well, Kelly brings in two FULL 2 liters and two FULL bags of chips. Most of us (most of us meaning the girls) had about two cups...Do you want to know what the least,
-ops, I meant the rest -of us had? :-P -just kidding, they're swell -like my adjective "swell"? - guys, sometimes unless they've had too two much caffeine...:-)-- Lets just say both of the two 2 liters were gone by lunchtime. And the two FULL bags of chips. (That's the "CAFFEINE!!!!!" part) And then I get home and I get to have grinders!!!! Yeah!!!! With chips!!!! :-P (that's the "(o gosh what a day.....) ) osh, cosh, be-gosh, coffee gosh, and double coffee gosh! And as Trevor would say, especially during devotions, when we are all trying to be serious, and Trevor is just plain funny, "cows!" :-) (I love your little expression-istic sayings Trevor. They make me laugh! :-))

19 April 2006

Die baby die!!!! :-P in a good way... :-D

Want a really cool way to kill yourself?
(Kids: this has been tested by a trained professional, don't try this at home!) :-P
Thank Amy for it, who thanked Scott for it, and now you'll thank me...

ops, forget that part :-P

"Sunny skys, pretty day..."

Ok for all of you who are Muppet fans, you should know this song! :-P I'm right now, at this single moment, presently, etc. typing a paper for English about light switches. Yes, light switches. The first two paragraphs have been fun, (yes, fun :-D), but this one, has been just hmm, as Amy would put it, "barfy!". :-D Well, I have a lot to do before I leave in a 1/2 an hour so I better, skid-daddle :-P Ta ta, te te. and to to!

17 April 2006

I'm learning to drive... never mind, I didn't say that! (didn't want to scare you away...yet)

Yes, the title does not lie... I started driving a bit today! On the way home from orchestra, when we got off of 31, dad slowed down looked at me and said, "You want to drive?". So, I drove from 31 to our house!!!! :-D I hate our driveway :-P !! It has two ditches on each side of it. I'll post a photo later...not that anyone's really interested but anyway. That's it 'cause I have homework for tomorrow. See y'all :-P

14 April 2006

P.S to whatever this is called of Randomness

Also now there is Blinky, guildenstern, WildBlue, and albert...:-P

(If you can think of a good title for randomness...put it here________)

*sigh* It's about to rain...So I guess that means I won't be riding Liza...or running...or riding my bike down to Mrs. P's...I'll be doing homework :-/ . But I think I'm finally understanding Latin :-). I'm trying to talk Ethan into watching Elizabethtown...:-/. I got an e-mail from Interlochen! :-) I didn't get financial aid :-/. I don't know why I'm on-line right now...:-? I don't have anything to say...except, check out Zeus, Gibbs, Portia, and Oinks (the latter being named in honor of the best ice cream place in Michigan!) at the bottom of my blog. And, if you want to laugh hysterically till your little brother comes in and tickles you and that doesn't even make any difference, go to Amy's blog and read everything! She is so funny!!!! :-P

13 April 2006

Something AWESOME!!!!!!

Gosh I loved today. It was so nice outside. Eating lunch, in the sun, where it's warm....ahhh... I don't know why, but walking to Jamey's was fun...And vanilla Coke, who could say no? (Except maybe Amy who doesn't like it...I think :-P) Then, I came home without having to go to the library. Memorized vocab words while walking around Mejer. Then, coming home, running, riding Liza, mom and dad went and got movies and ICE CREAM!!!!! So ha, I've been eating Cookie-Dough Ice Cream people!!!!! :-P And Addie, I'm sorry, I can't wait to watch 'Elizabeth Town'....I got it. I was trying to figure out why mom wasn't telling me to go to bed, and I was watching a movie, when just now it hit me...we don't have school tomorrow! HA!! This is positively the best day of my life...ok, maybe not THE BEST, but pretty darn close. Well, last note to Trevor (though he doesn't read this), and to Ben (who doesn't read this either...I think), I happen to think Peter Parker (Toby McGuire?) is cute and sweet...despite what you say. (Maybe it was just Trevor....I can't remember:-P) Anyway....weird ending though...but I'm happy and that's what you get when I'm happy...random bits of jumbled weirdness...Good night all...

12 April 2006

Anyone want to join me being annoyed at...me? :-P

Gosh, I'm need help! lol I keep randomly going into Tenor cleft when I am supposed to be in Bass cleft!! I was playing a duet with the c-d that I'm working on for my recital and kept wondering why I always sounded way off at this one part...well, that was why. Why do I do that? I don't like Tenor cleft. I did it at Orchestra too. Just switched clefts with-out meaning (wanting) to. See? This is what happens when you have to learn more than one cleft... lol . It's sooo nice outside and I've been inside all day. But I have all my homework done for tomorrow so I don't know why I'm not out there...These walls are closing in on me...The room is getting smaller and smaller...AHHHHGGG!!! Forget KYSO and Cello lesson...I'm out'ta here!! Worry, I may never come back inside!!!!!! :-P

11 April 2006

YAMAHOO

Whoa, that was totally random...anyway, I just got in from running and lifting weighs. Ahh, feels good after not doing it for a while. I just watched 'Hitch'. It was pretty funny. I have all my homework done for Thursday so tomorrow I can start to catch up on Latin. Yahhh! :-! I want to be good at it...but I'm not. :-/ Tomorrow I'll be at KYSO rehearsal. Then cello lesson. well, I'm so tired and it's 9:30! weird...I'm never tired at night...oh yeah, if you want to be jealous of my friend ben's 'true musician' shoes go to http://-fire-.blogspot.com/. k, read the entire book of James for devotions tomorrow...it's my favorite scripture...almost :-P k, everybody, I know it's hard but keep out of trouble...that includes braking windows by blasting The White Stripes or Coldplay too loud. Blare it out, (is that the 'right' kind of blare?) , just don't brake your parents windshields in the process. :-P

09 April 2006

Slow down...

Whoa Guys, you really need to stop putting so many comments!! ;-) I can't keep up with them all! :-P It is soooo nice today, so instead of wasting your time reading my blog, (if you read my blog at all, your already wasting your time :-!) get outside and lay out or run or something! (Exclamation point, strong feeling, exclamatory sentence. Go back to the verb, divide the complete subject from the complete predicate...oh, brother...lol, Mrs. Jones would be proud of me..) (or be like me: stay inside and study for tests while watching clouds go by...oh, wait, there aren't any clouds...*sigh with annoyance* silly me...k, 'PUBLISH POST'

clean-ness

Last night, Ethan and I tried to watch "The Two Towers" extended version 'cause it's our fav. extended (at the moment). After about 20 min. though, I think we both fell asleep. Anyway, I wake up this morning to someone singing something. Trying to figure out who the heck at 6 or whatever in the morning (Sat. of all days! lol j/k, I want to get up in the morning even on week-ends) is singing! I get up got to my room (I fell asleep on Ethan's other twin bed) and realize it's my alarm clock 'singing' . I turn it off, turn off the 2nd alarm, and stumble back to Ethan's room. (My bed had school books on it and the other bed was already warm too lol). Anyway, I just close my eyes, when Ethan, on the other side of the room, sits up and says, "Wanna play playstation?" "ummm, no thanks, that's ok. You can." "Ok," he answered. He proceeds to get up, turn on the tv, (wow it was bright!), and play while I, fall asleep for about another 2 hrs. When I finally get up (hey, it was a late night lol), I feel like Audrey Hepburn in 'Roman Holiday' (which, if you haven't seen, you should. Unless your a guy, you may not like it :-P) . You know, when she can't sleep and the Dr. gives her the sleeping shot and then she runs away but is so sleepy then that she kinda walks around mumbling and stumbling around kinda drunk like? Well, that's what you missed this morning about 8:00. A live performance of that! lol I just remember my mom giving me a weird look as I tried to get myself some breakfast and say good-bye (she has IUK on Sat.). Besides that, after breakfast, I crawled back into the warm bed (I really have never been so beat in my life!!) And watched Ethan for awhile. Then finally deciding that it was stupid to waste anymore time of that lovely, cloudy, 30* day, I got up and took care of the animals. Then I cleaned the bathroom and did laundry waiting to take my nice shower till I got the bathroom clean. Ahh, it was well worth it! The high-light of my day...Well, besides getting a new lunge-line for Liza and a new chin strap so I can ride her again and and riding crop so she doesn't keep stopping on me PLUS (ready for this?) Luke just helped me figure out this impossible problem! Well, obviously not impossible, but it felt like it! I was just about to give up, when he came on-line. And he stayed till I solved it...Thanks Luke! :-P Well, that's about my day. I'm going to try to finish this math test and go to bed. Ohhhh, good morning everyone! It's 12:02 a.m Palm Sunday... (this is the most I've ever typed...especially with my eye-lids practically shut...) k, where's the publish button...'night...

06 April 2006

(Whoa Baby)

I can never think of a title so there's one...lol anyway, I had a totally awesome cello lesson last night! My teacher says I'm so perfect @ what I do...lol yeah right! I don't know if he's ever had more to say on my playing than last night...I was terrible. ok, on to the un-interesting stuff now, (yes, the last thought was the interesting one :-P) I was accepted at Interlochen. Not the division I wanted, it was full. But I made the Intermediate division. (yah! I get to wear red socks) I'm not sure if I got any scholarship money though. Which will depend if I go there or IU as IU is only $500 and Interlochen is $3000 and something! That's about it...no interesting stories like the heroine James...(I love her blog! :-P)

05 April 2006

are you really interested in reading this?

I was in the garage Sat. , and leaning against the dolly (is that how you'ld spell it?) I fell forward, my arms and feet underneath. My wrists landed on the tractor weel pretty much full weight. My entire body was so sore. lol, @ Orchestra (yes, I still refuse to call it Creasendo! don't ask why) after playing that Handle or whatever the no fun piece is, my arms hurt so bad. As I was rubbing them, Jason kinda gave me the,"What is wrong with you," look and pretty much said the same thing. After I told him he became more sympathetic and where-by I have nothing else to say...
(except, sympathetic is fun to say, try it a couple of times...
out loud is best : P)

Today

Well, I haven't revolted against DST (yet). But I heard of someone who did today. : ) I was at the dentest and the hygenist (sp?) who was cleaning my teeth said her sons had revolted lol. They wouldn't change their clocks! I went shopping too. I was looking for a dress for my recital but no luck except finding a million prom dresses! lol One of them would have almost worked but it just looked impractical. But I did get jeans! lol I was down to 2 pairs. So I know y'all love hearing about that but hey, I'm excited. We are getting some more chickens on Monday. : / O boy! I'm SO happy : ( ! I really don't want anymore...I'm sick of chickens. Speaking of which, I g2g take care of the animals. Oh, and that's a picture of my little buddy from an aquarium in Maine (photo courtesy of Me!) Take care!

01 April 2006

!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!.!

I can't believe we are moving to eastern time! That so stinks! I really REALLY don't want to change! (If anyone hasn't realized that yet : p) Anyway, I'm so tired and got to go take care of my horse. ---------------- ^
See ya!

29 March 2006

* * * * * * * * * * * * *

We just went to a great concert last night...The St. Lawrence String Quartet.(soooooo much better than listening or watching an orchestra concert!!!!! Those are as boring as...hmmmm, me! ha lol) They are awesome! They are a lot of fun to watch too. The 1st violinist, Geoff Nuttall, moves so much...he lifts his feet off the floor and looks like he's going to get up and dance around! LOL I wonder if he ever falls off his chair...? The 2nd violinist, Barry Shiffman, his bow arm looks like Mrs. Malleway's( Mallaway's? not sure, anyway...). Mr. Spahr looks kinda like their cellist, Christopher Costanze. Except Mr. Spahr doesn't hunch over so much.

lol, I get lectured on that all the time! "Leah, you can play thumb position hunched over...Can you play it sitting normally now?"

They played 4 pieces. 2 Mozart, 1 Reval (sp?), and 1 Shoshtokovich. The latter 2 (sp?) were the best. Maybe. lol. It was fun. The only 'un-fun' part was rushing home from Kokomo and having 20 min. to take care of the animals, change, eat dinner, and do my hair. Got everything done except the dinner part (bad idea!). I'm not really sure how my hair looked 'cause I left my bag @ the church after spending the night w/Addie and my curling iron and mirror were in there. lol, oh well. It was fun anyway. I g2g finnish school. See ya!

Shakespeare play

Today, we went to see "The Merchant of Venice." It was sooo good! I know, everyone thinks I'm a weirdo(I read his plays and sonnets and like them...yes Megan, I LIKE them lol) but, I loved it! I think I liked it better without the costumes and props. It really helps to concentrate (spelling?) on the words and actions that the actors are doing without the distractions of props and such. But I have friends who don't like it w/o the costumes. Anyways, thats about it. But it was awesome! I loved it! If you want to go (nobody again, knows my blog exists b/c Addie- I can't get your e-mail to work! : P) tomorrow night, @ IUK it's playing again. I want to go again. ok, i'll stop boring u...ttyl
