trying something new?

08 April 2008

"just a day, just an ordinary day..."

after...
  • singing loudly all day (don't ask the neighbor's opinion!)...
  • standing in the sun hanging clothes on the line...
  • dancing madly around the house...
  • vacuuming the house (maybe the neighbors didn't hear me over the contraption :^D)...
  • talking to several dear friends...
  • eating day-old pizza...
  • washing a very muddy dog...
  • apologizing and being forgiven...
  • catching up on FB...
  • listening to "Gone" about 18 times...
  • trying to "keep the green button on continuously"...
  • making my bed at 1:19 AM with sun-dried and wind-blown sheets...
  • a complete change of heart...

I think my Monday was a success.

Quote of the Day
The strength of patience hangs on our capacity to believe that God is up to something good for us in all our delays and detours.

I must ditto Tamara. I like the quote. I'm glad you had a good Monday...and what about your lovely Tuesday MORNING??? ;o) (wow, I haven't done one of those smileys in a while...I just thought ;) wasn't quite enough for you!)

I can't wait to spend a whole day with you. Even MORE than a whole day! We will probably lose our voices from talking so much. Yep, I'm planning on it.

I love sun-dried/wind-blown sheets!!! Hooray for clothes lines.

(AND COMBOS!)

love
you

I don't know how many people really know how to "leave the green button on" but I appreciate its presence in the list. :o)

Leah my friend,
*smile* we have officially talked...and it was grand! sounds like a beautifully good day.

I love singling loudly all day, especially with headphones on and the vacuum running. :)

Tamara: I love our cool friendship...but I feel that you are being deceived by me. ::sigh:: I am definitely not that cool. BUT I LOVED TALKING TO YOU TOO MY TWIN!!! That was definitely one of the top ten coolest things I've ever done after waking up. 'Twas pretty grand...I LOVE YOU MORE THAN SOUR PATCH KIDS!!!

Charity: It is a good quote...AND MY TUESDAY MORNING WAS WAY BETTER THAN MOST!!! ;0) There's one for you too. Good thing Ben doesn't have these things copyrighted ::smile::...Whoa, I've never completely lost my voice before...let's do it!!!! YES! I love clotheslines! a lot. and people who use them too! :^) a lot.
Oh, by the way, you can find one of those very cool pianos (tho I must warn you that they only play a one octave arpeggio!) in my bedroom at my sister's...Amia is quite the pianist! :^)

Ben: Yeah, can’t say I do either. I certainly and sadly am not very good at it. But on Monday for some reason, it seemed to stay on for longer and was easier to than other days. Which was odd because I had more on my mind than usual…then again, maybe that was why…

Maria: WHOO HOO! Dear, we are going to talk beyond just our “officialness” in the gym where I couldn’t really hear your beautiful voice…it shall come. But yes, it was a good day…it was seriously one of the most joyful days ever. ::sigh:: It was grand. I hope your pizza transformation was splendid! From what I’ve heard of your cooking skills, I’m sure it was good!

Here is a hug in return: >-|o :^)

P.S. to Charity

I just realized how NERDY that comment on Amia's piano sounds! Oh my. Who cares that it's a one octave arpeggio? :^P (!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!)
